About the founder
Amber struggled with unrepentant fear, selfishness, idolatry of alcohol, believing lies, and self-delusions for more than 10 years while in active addiction. Since her sobriety date of November 7th, 2005, she has worked with hundreds of people in jails, churches and treatment centers across the U.S. to stay meditative on glorifying God. She is now a Christian wife, mother, author, and recovery activist! She began Captives Free Missionary Society with the Board of Directors in May of 2023.

Events
Thank you to all of our guests who attended our first annual Waffle Wonderland, on December 16, 2023. Captives Free Missionary Society is incredibly grateful to Elderwood of Hinckley- Senior Living for the wonderful brunch! We have listed the businesses that so generously gave gifts for the Silent Night Auction and we thank you! Also, a very special thank you to all of the AMAZING VOLUNTEERS who spent hours of their time to make this event even possible. Thank you!
